Rick Valdez has traveled and bow hunted on four continents (
Africa, North America, South America and Australia) in the last 25 years. He has taken over 750 big game animals with bow and arrow and has done it from New Zealand to Tanzania and
Alaska to Hawaii including some memorable hunts in
Canada. Among his many North American species of big game animals taken with a bow are Roosevelt Elk, Whitetail deer, Mule Deer, Black Bear, Caribou, Javelina, Moose, Mountain Lion and Rocky Mt. Elk. Rick's African bow kills include: Cape Buffalo, Blue Wildebeest, Black Wildebeest, Kudu, Gemsbok, Blesbok, Steenbok, Cape Hartebeest, Southern Nyala, Southern Impala, Eland, Zebra and even a large male Baboon In New Zealand he took Red Stag, Elk (Wapiti), feral sheep, feral goats and some giant wild boar.
