This animal is the toughest trophy I have taken with a bow. Big time attitude, down right mean and won't give up. Add to that a nearby cow ready to kill anything that got close to her calf and you have enough adrenaline in your system to keep you going a long time.
After three trips to Africa and over 75 days in the bush I took this huge Eland Bull estimated at around 1500 lbs. One shot and down in 60 yards
Zebra's are really tough animals to hunt with a bow. I have tried to take one on every trip to Africa and finally with Nico's help took this beautiful male.
This unique looking antelope is a great plains game trophy with a bow.
Warthogs have always been one of my favorite African animals to hunt. Even though this big male had a broken tusk, I could not resist taking the shot. He ran about 100 yards and crashed.
This Warthog boar was my second of the trip.
This Impala bull was the first animal taken on our safari and got us started in the right direction.
This male Baboon was a great test for a bow hunter and his equipment.
This is a monster Impala Ram measuring 26". He was the last animal taken and was the perfect way to end the "Hunt of a Lifetime"
I have been asked the question "If you could do it over would you do anything different?". My answer is "Yes, I would stay longer". |
